REAL LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH is a New Testament, Evangelical, Non Denominational Church.  In simple terms...our goal is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, help any person find salvation and spiritual healing in a church that has no Denominational Government directing it's work and ministry.  Jesus is our creed and the Bible is our book.

 

Our name simply coveys the fact that we are ordinary, imperfect people seeking God in a difficult world through our everyday "real" life.  We have no official membership, but consider every Christian who walks through our door, a member of the body of Christ. We would be glad to have you join us as we walk this road together.  We do not pretend to have all the answers, but simply have a real desire to seek God and his son Jesus Christ. We believe we are just one of many good churches in our area that are seeking to bring people to Jesus. We have a strong passion for youth ministry and dedicate a great deal of our resources toward showing them that Jesus is the answer to their difficulties in life.

 

Those  familiar with our church, are already aware that we are a "sister" ministry to Power and Light Productions - the producers of The Story of Jesus and The Story of Noah. The two ministries share the same goals and the same building.  Our ministries often are quite connected which simply enhances the work of both. 

 

WE KNOW THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE MORE COMFORTABLE WHEN THEY CAN READ A "STATEMENT OF FAITH."  FOR THAT REASON WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING BASIC VIEWS SHARED BY MOST OF OUR CONGREGATION.

 

We believe in one God who manifested himself through his only son, Jesus Christ. WE BELIEVE that this same Jesus was born of a virgin, lived among us, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave on the third day, and ascended into Heaven. WE BELIEVE that salvation and eternal life is not earned by human merit but is a free gift for any who will accept it through claiming Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. WE BELIEVE that God seeks to carry out his will today through the indwelling gift of his Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians, who, together form the church, and together await his second coming and the gift of eternal life in Heaven.  .  We believe the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the inspired Word of God.  The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and are, therefore, the final authority for faith and life.  The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man.
